I AM GLAD! and I AM HAPPY!
Frankly, I did all the reading, searching from net, printing, reading...and almost used up a rim of A4 paper in 4 days before the presentation. Dont have the appetite, dont drink much water, even forget to shower!lol..just staring at the reference book, technical paper, seminar paper...though sometime dont even understand what's it all about!haha....
After few days of dreadful preparation....it finally came this morning. The title of my research is "Compressibility Characteristics of Remoulded Soft Soil". It is a really challenging title for me, totally blur on what should do at first...one thing to overcome this problem is to read more on the paper done by previous researchers, ask youself why you want to do the research? how are you going to do?where?what are the outcomes...then by that, you'll be familiar with your topic already.
What i wanna share here is, what are the questions asked by my panels (Dr. Chan Chee Ming, Mr. Zulkifli, & Mr. Nasir) this morning:
1. What stress you will applied on your samples?
2. How do you carry out the Liquid Limit test?what are the parameters you will obtained?
3. What is slurry?- Its LIQUID! remember this. and the liquid limit:can be MORE THAN the LL.
4. References-must be (surname, year)!
5. Have you ever find out that other researchers has done some similar topic with yours?
6. Do more reading on topic that relevant to yours...international journal on xxx.
7. more and i cant really tell here cause its very specific to my title.
Anyway...GOOD LUCK to those who haven done theirs...you can do it!!
